This website is operated by Rachel Watkins Psychotherapy. I am committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data lawfully and transparently, in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What information I collect

The only personal information collected through this website is the information you provide when booking a consultation using Calendly. This may include:

• Your name
• Email address
• Preferred appointment time
• Optional notes you include with your booking

Purpose and lawful basis

Your information is used solely to arrange and confirm appointments and, if required, to communicate with you about your booking. The lawful basis for processing is:

• Contract – to take steps at your request before entering into a therapeutic contract or to provide therapy once agreed; and
• Consent – where you choose to provide optional details.

How your data is processed

Bookings are handled by Calendly, which acts as my data processor. Calendly securely stores the information you submit and provides me with your booking details. I receive these details by email for scheduling purposes only.

Retention

Booking details are kept for a short period to manage appointments and then deleted once they are no longer needed. Emails relating to bookings are routinely deleted after the appointment unless there is a legal or clinical reason to retain them.

Sharing your data

I do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is shared only with Calendly as part of the booking process and my email hosting provider, both of which are based in or compliant with the UK / EEA data-protection standards.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
