About Rachel
I grew up in inner-city Manchester in a diverse family that included adopted and fostered siblings—an experience that shaped my understanding of connection, resilience, and care. My journey began working with deaf adults with learning difficulties then evolved into social work, where I supported vulnerable young people and their families through complex challenges.
Over the years, my career has taken me across the globe. I’ve lived in the USA, Russia, and most recently Spain, where I served as Vice Consul for the Balearic Islands for the British Embassy. There, I supported UK nationals experiencing trauma overseas—work that deepened my commitment to compassionate care. I’m a fluent Spanish speaker and know firsthand what it’s like to feel foreign, both culturally and emotionally.
As a psychotherapist, I work within the framework of Transactional Analysis , a modality that explores how our early life experiences shape the patterns we carry into adulthood. I believe that the path to repair and recovery begins with the relationship between therapist and client. It’s within that safe, attuned connection that healing can begin.
Whether you're navigating personal transitions, trauma, or simply seeking greater clarity, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, insight, and care.
